There are places that don’t try too hard,
and somehow still stay with you.
Galopina felt like that.
Nothing loud, nothing performative…
just a quiet kind of beauty,
where time slows down without asking.
Even the simplest things here feel considered.
The food is honest, fresh, and comforting in a way that doesn’t need explanation. I still miss the food everyday since I left.
the kind you keep eating slowly, just to stay a little longer.
And then there are the hosts…
warm, attentive, and present without ever intruding.
They hold the space gently, almost invisibly,
making you feel taken care of without making it a spectacle.
I came here not looking for anything in particular,
and left feeling a little more settled than before.
Sometimes, that’s enough. Sometimes, that’s everything.

Très beau lieu avec une architecture contemporaine et une jolie déco. Accueil très agréable de la propriétaire qui nous régale d'une cuisine franco-mexicaine succulentes. Présence de jolies cénotes à proximité avec peu de touristes .

Galopina has been the highlight of our three week Mexico trip. This gem of interior design is nestled in a beautiful tranquil garden away from the bustling sounds of the city. Elisa’s and Guillaume’s kindness and excellent fresh cooking made us feel at home instantly. Thanks to their valuable recommendations we were able to truly explore Mexico off the beaten path, swimming alone in a remote Cenote in the jungle, admiring the Maya ruins of Uxmal almost by ourselves and star gazing in the midst of Galopina’s garden. Galopina also provided for the perfect location when exploring classic destinations such as Merida and Valladolid as well. Thank you for a perfect time, we could not recommend staying here more! It really is a dream!

Secluded, very private, authentic and calm. Elisa and Guillaume’s place is a haven, with the entire grounds inviting one into relaxation and slow, conscious living. Beautiful room with natural materials, big comfy bed and private terrace. Great food - prepared at the house. We felt no need at all to leave the grounds during our stay, everything we needed was right there, which meant we were able to relax fully. If you want to be a bit more active the hosts give great recommendations for lots of activities in the area.

Es un hotelito precioso cerca de Seyé. En medio de la naturaleza. Cada habitación pensada con vistas a los espacios verdes y lindas terrazas. Toda la decoración de muy buen gusto y con todo lo que necesitas.
La atención es súper personalizada y la comida buenísima. Tienen una guia de la zona que ayuda mucho para definir actividades. Nosotros fuimos a tres cenotes bellísimos y casi sin personas en plena temporada alta. Tienen un perro y 2 gatos (Galo y Pina) padrísimos. Muchísimas gracias a Guillaume y Reyna por todas sus atenciones, estuvimos encantados!!!
